What is the Mentorship Program? TCA members are investors who are experienced in building start-up companies and who want to lend their assistance to the UCLA community. This is an invaluable opportunity for anyone who has a technology with which they would like to turn into a company. A TCA mentorship will consist of up to 3 mentoring sessions where you will receive personalized counseling for your technology from an expert who is knowledgeable in your field. For more information, please check out the Mentorship FAQ...

Anderson Students: One More Chance for Mentorship
One of the groups selected for mentorship in Summer 2007 is looking for an Anderson student to join their team.
Here is a message from the team: We believe that the concept which I call “One Step Sanitary Products” represents a simple change which will to better health for users of personal disposable sanitary products. The new product will be more convenient for consumers, and will cue the consumer or caregiver to include sanatizing- cleansing while changing their sanitary product. Ideally, our start-up company needs someone with a strong business background, who is as involved and committed as we are in putting this product on the market. I think this would contribute greatly not only to his/her profession and personal finance, but also to their spirit as they will be doing good and helping others along the way. Please send your resume to Nahla Al-Samarrai at nahla@uclaalumni.net. More info
The Seminar Series
Enjoy a casual conversation with a group of local angel investors who have successfully nurtured technology companies. Leverage their immense wisdom to help turn your technology into a valuable company. Open to all UCLA students, post-docs, and faculty.
Tech Coast Angels (TCA) is the largest angel network in the U.S. and the number-one source of startup funding in Southern California. TCA members have invested more than $65 million in more than 100 companies and have helped attract more than $650 million of additional capital, mostly from venture capital firms. Learn more about the TCA.
If you’re a student, researcher, professor, or even an individual aspiring to start a company, we encourage you to register for our seminar series and suggest topics for discussion.
